This Chi Chi foundation is exactly what it says it is, flawless and fabulous! After seeing quite a bit of this product online around MUO and also watching Shaaanxo rave about it (you can check out the vid below) I was definitely interested in giving it a go. However I am soo picky when it comes to new foundations because they are often a more expensive purchase and also I have sensitive skin which can be prone to breakouts. Once my friend Jess ordered a Chi Chi box which featured this foundation and showed me how flawless it really was without being too heavy on the face I was sold! Well, the Chi Chi foundation was!
I wrote about this product recently in my ‘products worth mentioning post’ because I haven’t been giving this foundation the credit it deserves. It is one of my go-to fuller coverage foundations and sits alongside my MAC Pro Longwear, to be honest I often pick it over my MAC because it seems to sit just a bit nicer on my skin. I apply the foundation with a brush after letting my primer settle a little on my face (usually my Garnier Perfect Blur cream or sometimes my newer Smashbox primer). The brush I prefer to use with Fabulous and Flawless is my Real Techniques Expert Face brush. It just seems to work the product really nicely onto my skin and allows me to build up coverage if I want to. I often finish it up just using my beauty blender gently to blend in a few parts around my nose.
The real highlight of this foundation is how the coverage can be built up and also how long it wears for. You can go for a medium level coverage or higher, and as you layer it for more coverage the product underneath doesn’t go all strange and unsettled. It also feels good on your face, not heavy or cakey – just nice! A full face of Fabulous and Flawless will easily last you the day and into the night with perhaps just a bit of a powder touch up if you have oily skin.
I would recommend giving your fresh Chi Chi base a finish off with a setting powder before you step out for the day just to really lock it in place (or a setting spray if you prefer, however powder would be better if your T-zone gets oily). This foundation has never made me breakout or dried out my skin in anyway and also colour matching was a breeze.
You can tell I really like this foundation right! Have any of you tried and loved Chi Chi’s Fabulous and Flawless Foundation??
