Drugstore.com and Beauty.com are seriously some of the easiest places online in the world to buy makeup and beauty products at really affordable prices. I do semi-regular hauls from drugstore.com to stock up on bits and bobs that I use all the time (shampoo for Yee, EOS lip balms), and now and then I’ll add in something a bit more exciting from beauty.com. The cool thing about these two sites is that they both stock different products – drug store items and then more high end, but you can purchase from both into one cart, one transaction and one package.
I recently took advantage of the dual site system in a mini haul. I was dieing, literally dieing without any EOS lip balm in my life (conveniently it was found under the couch a few days after my package arrived by my little furry friend). I grabbed two single EOS smooth spheres (the usual round EOS balms) and then a four flavour multi pack which includes three smooth spheres and one smooth stick. The EOS products in total cost me $17.57 USD for 6 balms which is insanely good if you consider NZ pricing. I recently saw boxes of them for sale at a Big Bucket Sale at Greenlane for $9 each and on Trade Me and at Martha’s Backyard they are around $10 plus.
Also, I have had my eye for a little while on the Anastasia Brow Wiz. I own and love the Dip Brow, however I was keen to try the lighter Ash Blonde shade for when I’m not wearing a full face of make up. After seeing Sophie from Nanna Wintour rave about it on twitter I decided to snap it up while I was there for $21 USD. I am absolutely loving it – check out my full review here.
As usual I used NZ Posts YouShop to get my goodies to me. My parcel arrived and order was completed at the NZ Post warehouse on the 26th of September, I had my glorious lip balms with me on the 1st of October – only 6 days later! Amazing!!
