My best friend, Melissa, is currently living it up in Korea, which means two things. Firstly, I miss her heaps, but at the same time I am crazy proud of her and secondly, Korean beauty products! Recently her and our other best friends who are in NZ with me decided to post each other some goodies. It was also Melissa’s birthday recently so we wanted to send her something for that too. You can see what NZ goodies we sent her at the bottom of the post, but for now check out what she sent me.
You can tell we have been friends for a long time because everything she sent me I am totally in love with!
The face on this lip balm makes me laugh so much. It’s called an On: the Body With Kakao Friends and it’s a peach tinted lip balm with a dash of sunscreen. But seriously that face….! The other products are samples from Etude House and Goodal. I am a big fan of Etude House as they make some really cute things and the Baking Powder BB Deep Cleansing Foam really intrigues me as I normally think of BB as BB cream.
I love face masks so I am so excited to try all these out! The top right mask ‘I’m sorry for my skin’ cracks me up and I can’t wait to see what the character mask looks like. Now this is best friend love right here, I have wanted one of the Sailor Moon beauty products FOREVER! I can’t get over how cute it is! I hope the eye liner slays as good as Sailor Moon does. The Disney themed stickers are just as cute, but they are so cute that I don’t want to use them. The orange and white tin is called Peri’s Ink peripera and it has these two insane liquid lipsticks inside which my friend says have incredible staying power. In the swatch below you can see how after wiping it off my arm after 30 seconds of wear it had already stained which I love. It means I can wear it all day without fuss.
Finishing it off with some animal love, this headband is from Etude House and will be perfect for when I need to keep my hair off my face in the shower or when I’m putting on makeup. The socks are not only cute and cozy but a totally touch of memories. Morning Glory was my favourite shop when it used to be in Takapuna. My friends and I would spend hours there in the photo booths and buying cute stationary.
Korean beauty products are said to be pretty far ahead of the rest and I personally love how they seem to think of everything while keeping it all crazy cute. Have you tried any of these products before? Which ones would you like to try? Let me know if there is a particular product you’d like to know more about!
