Korean Kiwi Beauty Review

korean kiwi beauty review

Korean Kiwi Beauty is an online store which is new to NZ. They stock a huge range of Korean beauty products and brands, even those that can usually be tricky to find and get hold of! Over the past two weeks I have been trying out a range of goodies sent to me by Korean Kiwi Beauty. Here are my first impressions of the products and also my review of the Korean Kiwi Beauty service.

♥ The Face Shop Smile Foot Peeling Mask

I’ve tried a similar kind of foot mask like this before and I really liked the results. Although dealing with your skin peeling off for about a week isn’t that nice (wear socks and exfoliate!) the results are worth it! I’m excited to see how this one compares to the Holika Holika one I tried. I’m just waiting for my fake tan to fade before trying it!

Foot Peeling Mask – $8 per pair

♥ Holika Holika Soda Pore Cleansing BB Deep Cleansing Oil

This cleansing oil is fantastic at getting off all kinds of makeup, including heavy foundation and waterproof products. The oil smells really nice, kind of like orange soda, and it makes your makeup wipe off so easily. I also think the bottle is super cute! This is similar to the ZA cleansing oil but a little thinner in consistency, so a little goes a really long way.

Deep Cleansing Oil – $17/150ml

♥ Holika Holika Petit BB Cream – Clearing

This BB cream is very smooth and easy to apply with your fingertips or a Beauty Blender. The shade is not as pale as a lot of other Korean BB creams I’ve tried so it will suit a wider range of skin tones. This ‘clearing’ Petit BB uses tree tree and absorbent powder in its ingredients to help those with oily skin. Throughout the day my skin stayed relatively matte, although I still needed to powder a little later in the afternoon after a full day at work. It includes an SPF 30 which in my opinion is something you’ve got to have!

Petit BB – $8/30ml

♥ Holika Holika Pro: Beauty Bloody Oil Tint

This lip tint is long lasting and also feels really nourishing on my lips, despite its kind of scary name! There’s a range of five different shades, I tried the pink one and now really want to try out the ‘bloody berry’ shade. My favourite thing about it is how it feels like you’re wearing nothing, but you actually have a nice vibrant colour on your lips. Also, the formula drys quickly which is good if you are applying on the go.

Bloody Oil Tint – $10/7ml

The Korean Kiwi Beauty website is really easy to use and the pricing of the products is super reasonable. In comparison with my usual Korean beauty go-to online store, beautynetkorea.com, Korean Kiwi Beauty is overall cheaper when you look at product pricing. For example the Tony Moly Egg Pore Soap is $11.56 NZD from Beautynetkorea and $10 NZD from Korean Kiwi. Shipping at Korean Kiwi Beauty is free within NZ when you spend over $50 and all parcels are sent with tracking. I found the shipping super fast and it was within their guidelines of 2 -3 days processing and 2 days for postage.

I am definetly going to be buying from this store again as it is much easier and cheaper to buy my favourite Korean beauty products from this NZ based store than my usual overseas online stores. Also, look out soon for more detailed reviews on two more products I was sent by Korean Kiwi Beauty, the Tony Moly Shiny Skin Soap and the Anskin Modeling Mask.

What’s your favourite Korean beauty product?

I’ve never ordered/bought any korean products myself… although I guess that bunny balm gloss counts…. loaded up my cart with cute hand creams hahaha and I was apparently the first to know about the free shipping when I messaged them on FB because I couldn’t pay it yet (addiction…. eep)
