The MAC Cosmetics Fruity Juicy collection is out in all MAC Stores in NZ today. This is a collection I have had my eye on for a long time! The bright tropical theme is splashed over the packaging and the products, and can even be experience through a delicious coconut scent. This is by far the most fun and exciting collection I’ve seen from MAC this year and I was lucky enough to get my hands on one of the products a few weeks ago now, so I can confirm that this range 100% lives up to its bright hype!
The collection includes quite a wide range of different products including bronzing powders and face powders, brushes, a Fix+ spray, two eye shadow palettes, lipsticks and lip glasses and a super cute makeup bag. The Fix+ Spray has a tropical coconut scent which really caught my eye (or nose?) and I have a real thing for the special edition powders that MAC brings out as I love the different images imposed on the face powders.
You may be aware that Farmers recently begun selling MAC Cosmetics online which is a pretty big deal as it is basically the first ever way to buy MAC online in NZ. It’s also really handy as before this there was no NZ pricing of MAC Cosmetics available online either. When I was checking out Farmers online a few weeks ago I suddenly realised that they were selling a limited range of the Fruity Juicy collection online, weeks before it’s offical release date!
I decided to purchase the Pearl Matte Face Powder called “Oh My Passion” which is a stunningly beautiful and very versatile powder with bronze, banana and blush tones for $64 NZD. I honestly thought this had got to all be too good to be true, but sure enough it arrived at my doorstep a couple of days later! I doubled checked the official release date with MAC which is the 5th of June (today! Happy Birthday Queen!) and also reached out to Farmers what was going on but got no response! I will definitely be checking online more regularly incase they release more collections early.
Once Fruity Juicy is in stores I’m going to go and check out the rest of the collection and see if anything else takes my fancy as I am so in love with my Pearl Matte Powder.
What do you think of the Fruity Juicy collection?
