Peachy keen truths from a pink blush girl – MAC blush review

23mac-blush-peaches-h724-jpg_222718Until a few months ago the only shade of blush I had ever worn was pink. Light pink, dark pink, glittery pink, soft pink – literally all the pinks! At first glance I was really put off by wearing hints of peach on my cheeks, what about that slightly flushed pinky look? But now, one of my favourite blushes is ‘Peaches’ a sheertone blush by MAC.

Although in the image the shade could look quite orangey, I assure you that it’s not. That word ‘sheer’ isn’t in the product name for no reason. The smooth and easily blended blush comes off onto your brush as a lovely light peach hue and transfers on to the face without a whole bunch of product wastage.

I really like the way that the peach colour gives you a healthy summery glow and it can definitely be used to enhance any of that summer tan you have left over from the warmer days. As a pretty pale skinned lady, when using this blush I go very light handed with my usual bronzer, to make sure I don’t over do it.

If you have never tried a peach blusher before, I am standing here with a super encouraging facial expression, jumping up and down looking like I kind of need to pee saying “come on, just give it a go, you can do it”! If MAC isn’t your thing, I have heard that NYX powder blush in ‘terracotta’ in a fantastic dupe – and I am a big NYX fan.

Have a whirl and let me know how it goes!
