Perfect Pamper Products – #TheBloggersSnailMail Collaboration

Every girl needs to have some pamper time in her life! As my job gets busier and busier I seriously look forward to Tuesday evenings where I give myself a power pamper hour more and more. Each week I have a collection of essential products which I use week after week and each time no matter what, they make me feel like a million bucks!

Michelle from michellelouiselove.com and I were brought together by a really cool project called #TheBloggersSnailMail. Where we were matched up by Gemma from Lipstick and Lashes and became email pen pals, have a look at her site if you would be keen to get involved as I am sure she will do another one sometime. At first I thought like what do I even say to someone I don’t even know? But Michelle and I really quickly found things we had in common and now I feel like I have made a new friend. I know, pretty cute right! It has also been awesome hearing about where she’s from and about the blogging community in the UK too.

So back to the pampering, it’s something that Michelle and I both heavily endorse! And if you haven’t had a pamper session in awhile, read this and Michelle’s post and then get to it!

Firstly, while I am wandering around wondering what I need to do before I have a shower, I sometimes put a hair mask through my hair. At the moment I am using this Sunsilk one I got from a Big Bucket Sale. Other times I will actually leave my hair and put some coconut oil in the ends before I go to sleep instead.

Then I have a long super hot shower. I do whatever usual things I need to do but always have a full body scrub if I’m in the pamper zone. Sometimes Frank scrub and sometimes Selfie scrub. I will turn the shower off for a little bit to let the goodness of the scrub soak in, but as soon as I get cold I’m back in there.

After my shower I lather myself in some type of body moisturiser. I have been using the Lipidol After Shower Oil for a while now (check out my full review here) and am totally into it. I try and pay special attention to those often ignored areas, especially my knees because I have a few scars on my knees that always go scaly… ick!

Once I am out of the bathroom and in my room I may or may not light a few scented candles – totes romantic, and then I put on my most favourite face mask in the whole entire world – Glam Glow. While that is working it’s magic I may give my nails a bit of attention depending on what state they are in. At the moment I am really liking getting gel nails done at my favourite nail place – The Art of Nails Albany, so I’ll just rub a bit of some sort of oil into them and then struggle to use my phone with my oily nails for a few minutes.

My current gel nails – what do you think of my sparkly feature nail?

I always finish up with a face oil and my Pyjamas! Either an organic rose hip oil or my Linden Leaves Miraculous Facial oil. Many acne scars have been healed on my face from using oils, I am so mad at myself that I didn’t begin using an oil sooner.

I’d love to know if you do anything the same as me in your pamper routine, or maybe I am missing something super essential?

Also let me know if you have been involved in anything like #thebloggerssnailmail – it would be cool to hear about your experiences!
