Procrastinating Beauty Blogger Tag!

pretty make up products

Are you a procrastinator? When it comes to beauty, what do you make sure you always do and what do you make wait for as long as possible?!? I saw this Beauty Tag by Jen on ‘From Head to Toe‘ – and was super keen to give it a go. Scroll down to see who I have tagged!

1. Name a beauty regimen that you rarely do?

Body moisturising – I just don’t do it as often as I should! My skin has to be feeling a bit dry or itchy for me to crank out the body moisturiser. I use a Lush Shower Smoothie as my body wash, which is quite good, but I still think my skin would be happier with me if I moisturised more regularly.

2. Is washing your make-up brushes something that you do regularly?

Hmmm… pretty regularly, but not really often enough. I will tend to just change brushes as I hate waiting for them to dry once I’ve washed them, but then I want to use my favourites and will just use them whether they need a wash or not. I need one of those washing mits I think to get into it more often.makeup brushes

3. How long will you last with chipped nail polish?

Not long at all! I can’t handle it! I will either patch it up as soon as I get home if it’s a small chip, or end up picking more and more off until there is some nail polish remover handy. I don’t last long with bare nails either.

mascara4. How long will you put off buying/replacing a beauty product, even if you need it?

It really depends on the product, and to be honest, I already have back-ups of my NEED products. I can often hold up on buying something if I know I can get a better deal online for example, if I wait awhile. But there is no way I’d ever be without mascara or something like that.

5. What is your worst beauty habit?

Probably not being thorough enough with removing my make up at night. I use a wipe and then just use my spray toner and moisturiser, but I know that wipe isn’t getting all of it off. I really need to get back into the habit of cleansing at night or start using a product like UltraBland.

6. Name something non-beauty related that you put off doing all the time?

Putting away clean washing is just such a hassle sometimes! I will have it all in my basket ready to be put away and just not do it, and then it takes me a few days of needing the basket for my new dirty laundry to actually get around to doing it. I also suck at putting new clothes away – it’s something about wanting to keep them new for as long as possible.

7. When going out somewhere, do you leave getting ready to the last minute?

Nope, I can’t handle having to rush to get ready. In fact, I really enjoy having the time to get ready slowly and have fun while doing it. My make up (especially eye make up) always turns out better when I have time to play around with it.

8. Can you commit to spending bans?

Yes! I have recently completed one and I did so well! It’s hard at first, but then you get over wanting every little product you see – kind of like going sugar free or something I guess! When I do deicide to cut down on my spending it’s always for a real worth while reason to, so I have a goal and I always reward myself at the end of it.

9. How organized are your make-up and nail polish collections?

Pretty organised! I have a make up desk and everything is in organisers and containers. It’s also put away according to type of product or how often I use it. My brushes are organised in two containers according to their size. In a drawer I also have a box which I call ‘storage make up’, which are my back ups of different products. My nail polishes are all stored in a large plastic box with a snap lid to keep them safe, it’s tidy, but they aren’t organised in any type of order.

I love Beauty Tags, they are a really cool way of making you view your make up and beauty products, storage or styles in a different way! I would like to tag Elese from Elese, Aesthete and Hannah at A Lovely Look. =) Have fun girls! If you do the Procrastinator Beauty Blogger Tag make sure you link it below so I can have a look! x
