Random Weekend Haul – Farmers, MakeUp Direct, Postie Plus and more

weekend haulI’m not the only one that goes out just for a normal, average Saturday and ends up with a few little bags of beauty products right?!? A few of these bits I had in the back of my mind that I needed to pick them up at some point – (yup, NEEDED, haha) and then the rest were just things which caught my eye. There were also some great sales on for mother’s day.

Antipodes – organic avocado oil & rosehip: I read up on this awhile ago on ‘a lovely look’ and decided to give it a go as soon as soon as my Evolu rosehip oil was finished. It was a little more expensive than what I usually spend on my rose hip oil, but I’m looking forward to that avocado oil benefit.

MakeUp Direct

Vinylux polish in ‘Regally yours’: Decided to add to my vinylux collection with my most worn nail polish shade, deep dark purple.

Hask Shine oils in argan oil and keratin protein: Hask is probably my favourite leave in hair oil I have come across so far. I just put it through my damp mid-lengths to ends after a shower.

Postie Plus

Hello Kitty Tweezers: Straight up just a “whoa this is cute” purchase.

No 7, protect & perfect eye cream: I’ve been thinking about starting to use an eye cream as I am nearing my mid-twenties and I’m just kind of paranoid about it all. It’s hypo-allergenic and for protecting young skin against the first signs of ageing – two ticks for me. Also, there was an awesome Mother’s Day sale on – these two products together billed up to less than $20 =)

The Warehouse

Olay moisturising lotion: This is my daily facial moisturising cream. It’s simple, plain, light and is absorbed quickly. The sale meant I got my essential face cream for $6, whoop!

Shampoo and Things

Macadamia Natural Oil – Deep repair masque: My holy grail hair treatment mask, once you wash it out your hair just feels soooo good! I needed more! The only thing is that it’s a bit pricey being almost $9 and last time I used it I used the whole pack.

Fudge paint box, a whiter shade of pale: Fudge paint boxes are traditionally a semi-permanent hair colour, however I use this as a toner for my blonde hair. Probably about once a month or before a special event I use this to keep my colour looking good without any brassy tones.

Did anyone else do a spot of shopping over the weekend?
