Weekend Big Bucket Haul – eye shadows and essentials

photo (16) This weekend I popped in with a few friends to yet another Big Bucket Sale. It was a spontaneous visit as we had an hour before heading off to get ready for Ellie Goulding. I was pretty keen to stock up on my favourite baby/face wipes and didn’t really have anything else in mind. However, of course I left with few more items than just baby wipes!

Big Bucket Sale Receipt

♥ 2x Huggies Baby Wipes (the best and cheapest face wipes ever) – $5.00

♥ Johnsons Baby Oil ( for legit the smoothest leg shave ever) – $3.00

♥ Maybelline 24hr Colour Tattoo in Seashore Frost – $6.00

♥ Loreal Infallible Long Wear Eye Shadow in Primped & Precious – $7.00

♥ 2x Revlon Colourstay Shadowlinks Eye Shadows in Bone and Onxy – $12.00

Although I already have a few Colour Tattoo’s and I have to admit they aren’t my absolute favourite (I prefer MAC Paint Pots), I couldn’t leave this amazing shade behind. It’s a limited edition colour which I haven’t seen yet in store. You can see it in the image below on the right but the photo really doesn’t do it justice! It’s a pearly blue with a tinge of bronze when it hits the light and it is seriously so pretty! I grabbed the Loreal eye shadow because I thought it would be a great glittery grey for a night look, although it isn’t as pigmented as I would like.

photo 2 (15) The two Revlon mini eye shadows I took home are Revlons best kept secret. I can’t believe I haven’t come across them before or never seen any promotion of them because the idea behind them is fabulous! They are called shadow links because they actually slide into one another and click together so you can create your own little custom palette. I was sold simply on this idea and just chose two nice colours which I know I will get use of. An added bonus is that the shade ‘Bone’ is a dupe for the Naked2 shade ‘Foxy’ – WIN!
